Welcome to Alumnihood: Boston

Join fellow Swatties for an evening at The Tip Tap Room. Whether you’re brand new to Boston or a (near-)lifelong local, this event is the perfect place to see old friends and make new ones as we welcome the class of 2024 into the Swarthmore Alumni Community.

Tip Tap is both a restaurant and a bar, so folks under 21 are welcome, though it’s still best to bring an ID. They’ve got beers on tap (for under $10), various iterations on steak tips (including vegetarian options), and some full meals. You can see more at their website.

GETTING THERE

Tip Tap is less than a ten-minute walk from the Red, Green, Orange, Blue and Silver lines. It’s also 10 minutes from North Station and 20 minutes from South Station for those on the commuter rail. In addition to some limited street parking, there are numerous nearby parking garages (thanks to MGH).
